Occupy the benchmark with the rover and tap

to access the Occupy Control Point

screen and

begin measurements to the point.

When you are satisfied with the measurement, tap . You

will return to the Remote Elevation screen and the base station’s

calculated new elevation is displayed. The occupied benchmark

point has now been added to the job file.

If the new base elevation is acceptable, tap from the

Remote Elevation screen to update the projection. This will add a

vertical site calculated from the single benchmark and update the

base elevation in the job file.

Using Ellipsoid Heights

Ellipsoid height is a method that stores the local ellipsoid height

measurement as the vertical coordinate. Use ellipsoid heights if the

vertical is not important to the project, or when you intend to

transform heights to elevations in the office using a separate

program.

Set the

Vertical Projection Mode

on the Job

, Settings, Projection

card to

Ellipsoid Height.

Tap . Using vertical ellipsoid heights requires no additional

projection solution.
